Eye-catching Christmas shopping experience

Result Marketing are masters at retail communications - finding that sweet mix of simplicity and visual ‘oooh’.

This Christmas shopping CD-ROM concept for Littlewoods nearly got there.

Remember CD-ROMs? They still had a high perceived value around the turn of the century.

The idea was to partner with a national newspaper and cover mount free CDs.

Readers would slide the disk into their computers, shop a selected range of Christmas stuff, then, err, call up Littlewoods to relay what they wanted. Great experience, especially when items are out of stock. 

Still – looks a treat, eh?

Here’s what I did:

  • Put together wireframes
  • Produce it - coordinating designer, developer and gathering content

I'm still not sure what to say about the overall journey and experience - "broken" would probably do.
